Plank wood signs are made from new or aged wood and can be distressed to look like old wood pallets.
Signs marked for outdoor use are sealed with a protective clear spray.
All of the designing, cutting, sanding, nailing, staining and painting is done at my home.
I design the stencil on my computer and cut it using my Silhouette Cameo stencil cutting machine.
The framed signs are made out of 3/4″ fir, spruce or birch plywood and the frames are made with 1″x 2″ spruce strapping nailed together with brad nails.
The plank signs are made with 3/4″ thick spruce strapping in various widths and lengths.
The plain board sings are made from 3/4″ thick plywood.
All signs come with a method for hanging.
The wood I use may have knot holes or other imperfections which adds to the rustic finish of the signs. These imperfections are what make each sign one of a kind and adds more character to the piece.
